JCB manufactures these machines in the UK, India, and Brazil, ensuring a strong global presence. The Backhoe remains one of the best-selling construction machines worldwide.

The Backhoe Loader is widely used because it can perform multiple tasks, making it essential for construction professionals. The 4CX model, which became the one-millionth unit, is known for its advanced technology and excellent performance.

A Grand Celebration

JCB celebrated this milestone at its World Headquarters, with hundreds of employees and special guests attending. A highlight of the event was a parade of 16 Backhoes, showcasing models from 1954’s Mark I to the latest 2025 3CX.

A special guest at the celebration was Ken Harrison, a 100-year-old retired JCB employee, symbolizing the company’s rich history and lasting impact on the industry.
