SDLG, a Volvo Group member that provides sustainable solutions for construction, earthmoving, infrastructure, and mining projects, has launched its first wheel loader production site in Bengaluru.
According to the press release, this is a key milestone for SDLG in its efforts to expand localised manufacturing capabilities. The facility is equipped with production facilities for five different products and has the capacity to manufacture 1,000 machines per shift on an annual basis.
Surat Mehta, Head of SDLG Business in India, remarked that SDLG Growth Machines have received extensive praise from customers in various sectors such as quarrying, mining, roads, railway siding, and ports. He emphasized their exceptional adaptability, which enables users to extract maximum value across a wide range of applications.
SDGL's main goal includes cost savings, faster delivery, custom-made equipment for the region, and providing excellent customer service and support.
