Key Highlights:
CASE Construction Equipment, a CNH brand, has launched its Made-in-India Skid Steer Loader (SSL) for the domestic market at its plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
CASE India has handed over the SSL - SR130B machine to its first Indian customer, Global Enterprises, situated in Pune.
During the last edition of CII EXCON, the company announced the launch of its indigenously manufactured SSL in India, therefore expanding its product portfolio in the country.
Shalabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director of CASE Construction Equipment - India and SAARC region, stated, "We are excited to offer our made-in-Pithampur Skid Steer Loader to the Indian market. Expanding our product portfolio is a step toward capitalizing on the immense opportunities that the country brings to the CE industry, particularly with its growing emphasis on infrastructure development. With our complete line of construction equipment, we aspire to position ourselves as a dependable partner on the road to Viksit Bharat."
Satendra Tiwari, Executive Director- Operations, handed over the machine and added, "We have been selling world-class equipment from our Pithampur facility to 105 nations, including India. We hope to see more of these machines on Indian roads, strengthening the country's infrastructure."
The SSL SR130B, made in India, is a 49-hp, BS3 compliant machine driven by a worldwide known Perkins engine with a rated operating capacity (ROC) of 590kg and an operating weight of 2.3 tonnes.
Globally, the company began manufacturing SSLs in 1969 from its facility in Burlington (USA), with the 1526 Uni-Loader being the initial model. Now, the company manufactures it in Wichita (USA), San Piero in Bagno (Italy), and Pithampur (India), meeting global demand for CASE machines.
