Key highlights

  • Four new telehandlers with improved performance and operator comfort.
  • Turbocharged Cat C3.6TA engine meets EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage V standards.
  • Enhanced cabin options with ergonomic controls and a full-color LCD monitor.
  • Advanced safety features including rearview camera and Load Stability Indication.
  • Standard telematics for remote management and real-time data.

Caterpillar (Cat) has unveiled four next-generation telehandlers, setting new standards for performance, comfort, and technology. These machines are designed to enhance productivity on job sites while meeting stringent environmental regulations.

Powerful and Eco-Friendly Engine Options

The new Cat telehandlers are powered by the turbocharged Cat C3.6TA engine, which meets EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V emissions standards. Customers can choose between two engine options:

  • 74 hp (55 kW): This version features a zero-maintenance diesel particulate filter (DPF) and requires no diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), ensuring hassle-free operation.
  • 115 hp (86 kW): Available in the TH0842, TH1055, and TH1255 models, this engine uses selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology for cleaner emissions.

These engine options provide flexibility for operators, ensuring efficient performance across various applications.

Enhanced Operator Comfort and Ease of Use

Operators will appreciate the focus on comfort and control in the redesigned cabins. Options include:

  • Open canopy
  • Enclosed cab with heat
  • Enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning

The interior features an ergonomic layout with a tilt steering column and a new full-color LCD monitor. The monitor displays key machine data in four languages (English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese) and provides a rearview camera feed for safer operation. Operators can also switch to continuous camera viewing with a simple button press.

Safety and Precision Features

Safety is a top priority with these telehandlers. Standard features include:

  • Rearview camera
  • Operator presence seat switch to prevent operation if the seat is unoccupied
  • Optional Load Stability Indication (LSI) system, which alerts operators to forward stability risks when handling loads

The pilot-controlled joystick offers smooth control for boom functions like extending, retracting, lifting, and lowering. Customers can choose between two coupler options—IT or Standard TH—with the latter offering better fork visibility and higher load capacity when the boom is extended.

Advanced Technology and Easy Maintenance

Cat telehandlers come equipped with cutting-edge features to boost efficiency and reduce downtime:

  • Standard auxiliary hydraulics for powered attachments
  • Configurable engine idle shutdown to save fuel
  • Multi-operator code security system, supporting up to 50 codes to prevent unauthorized use

Maintenance is simplified with extended service intervals and a patented service tool for inspecting chains and boom-wear pads. Additionally, the boom sections and frames come with an impressive 5-year, 5,000-hour warranty.

Telematics and Remote Management

Every new telehandler includes Cat’s Product Link Elite telematics system. This technology delivers real-time machine data to fleet managers, enabling better decision-making. Remote flash capabilities allow software updates without visiting a dealer, while remote troubleshooting offers instant diagnostics and adjustments, ensuring maximum uptime.
